Code of Conduct and Ethics

Integrity is deeply embedded in our company culture, because doing the right thing can never be an occasional requirement.

GrafTech expects employees to conduct themselves in accordance with company policies and our shared Code of Conduct and Ethics. Of course, no single document can cover every situation, and GrafTech’s people may face dilemmas in which they must consider options and decide what to do. Before undertaking an action, employees should always be able to answer “yes” to four basic questions.

  • Is this conduct legal?
  • Does my conduct comply with GrafTech International policies?
  • Is my conduct fair?
  • If my conduct was caught on camera and appeared on a local TV newscast, would I still feel good about myself?
